What is it about?
The Wall of a Thousand Voices is a participatory experience where everyone becomes an author. You move through stations, choose lines of text, add up to three words to personalize, then assemble your poem. Each creation is then displayed on a large collective board, the Wall of a Thousand Voices. Midway through the event, a mini slam and a short focus on a Betfrika project add rhythm, depth, and real stage energy. At the end, you can find the poems via a QR code and share them.

Here, words don't stay on a page; they circulate, combine, and respond to each other. Each participant builds a unique poem from lines prepared with local voices (slam poets, students, readers). The same base can produce thousands of variations, depending on the choices, punctuation, and the three words everyone adds. The result is a collection of poems that reflects Lomé—its emotions, its questions, its energy.
