Betfrika training returns: a week-long rhetoric workshop to gain impact, structure your ideas, and dare to speak in public with confidence.
The first edition made an impression and, above all, sparked a lot of requests. Several people wrote afterwards—some because they could not attend, others because they later realized how important these skills are for their studies, work, or volunteer commitments. That is exactly why we are preparing a new edition.
For one week, Betfrika will offer an intensive workshop dedicated to eloquence and the art of argumentation. The goal is simple: to help you speak with more clarity, more confidence, and more impact, whether for a talk, a presentation, an interview, a pitch, a meeting, or an associative intervention. These essential skills for young entrepreneurs can make all the difference.
The workshop is designed to be progressive. We start with the basics that make a speech solid, then build toward practice. You will learn to structure an idea, build an argument, choose your examples, manage your voice and pace, and keep your message clear without weighing it down.
A central part of the program draws on the classic pillars of rhetoric—ethos, pathos, logos. The idea is not to stay theoretical, but to quickly understand how these three levers work in real life and how to use them according to your context. You can have strong content, but if the form is not mastered, the message will not land. The workshop helps you fix that.
The week is exercise-focused. You practice, you test, you start again. Short speeches, two-minute arguments, useful storytelling, handling objections, controlled improvisation—everything is designed to make you progress without putting you unnecessarily in difficulty. Feedback is concrete, structured, and always kind, because that is the condition for daring to improve.
We also include an intercultural dimension, because many of us navigate between several communication codes. Our approach connects classical rhetorical techniques with oral transmission traditions so everyone can find an authentic style without copying a rigid model, just as we explore when reflecting on the status of artists in Africa.
This new edition also aims for a clear outcome: leaving with tools you can apply immediately. At the end of the week, you will have a method to prepare a talk, better command of your presence, and simple techniques to make your message more captivating and convincing.
Dates, location, and registration details will be announced soon. If you want to be informed first, subscribe to our newsletter. Places are limited, and this is the best way not to miss the opening of registrations.
Eloquence is not a privilege reserved for a few. It is a skill you can learn, practice, and that genuinely changes how you are heard. Betfrika is happy to reopen this learning space and to see you there very soon.
