FAS: one school, one first-aid kit

The FAS programme aims to strengthen health and safety in schools by providing first-aid kits designed for the local context. Each kit contains the essential supplies needed to handle the common injuries, fainting spells and emergencies that students are frequently exposed to.

By equipping 120 schools with these resources, the project fills a critical equipment gap, particularly in areas where rapid access to care remains limited.

Each kit is put together based on what schools actually face day to day: minor injuries, falls, fainting, cuts, first responses before help arrives. Nothing superfluous, nothing generic — useful supplies, adapted to the climate, the children's age and storage conditions.

A well-designed kit is also a kit no one is afraid to open on the day it is needed.

Equipping schools with supplies is the first building block of a genuine culture of prevention. But equipment alone is not enough: you also need trained people to use it, and that is the focus of a complementary campaign within the FAS programme.
